Many people assume they aren't rich because they don't earn enough money. If I only earned a little more, I could save and invest better, they say.

The problem with that theory is they were probably making exactly the same argument before their last several raises. Becoming a millionaire has less to do with how much you make, it's how you treat money in your daily life.

 The list of reasons you may not be rich doesn't end at 10. Caring what your neighbors think, not being patient, having bad habits, not having goals, not being prepared, trying to make a quick buck, relying on others to handle your money, investing in things you don't understand, being financially afraid and ignoring your finances.

Here are 10 more possible reasons you aren't rich:

You care what your car looks like: A car is a means of transportation to get from one place to another, but many people don't view it that way. Instead, they consider it a reflection of themselves and spend money every two years or so to impress others instead of driving the car for its entire useful life and investing the money saved.

You feel entitlement: If you believe you deserve to live a certain lifestyle, have certain things and spend a certain amount before you have earned to live that way, you will have to borrow money. That large chunk of debt will keep you from building wealth.

You lack diversification: There is a reason one of the oldest pieces of financial advice is to not keep all your eggs in a single basket. Having a diversified investment portfolio makes it much less likely that wealth will suddenly disappear.

You started too late: The magic of compound interest works best over long periods of time. If you find you're always saying there will be time to save and invest in a couple more years, you'll wake up one day to find retirement is just around the corner and there is still nothing in your retirement account.

You don't do what you enjoy: While your job doesn't necessarily need to be your dream job, you need to enjoy it. If you choose a job you don't like just for the money, you'll likely spend all that extra cash trying to relieve the stress of doing work you hate.

You don't like to learn: You may have assumed that once you graduated from college, there was no need to study or learn. You buy things you don't use: Take a look around your house, in the closets, basement, attic and garage and see if there are a lot of things you haven't used in the past year. You don't understand value: You buy things for any number of reasons besides the value that the purchase brings to you. This is not limited to those who feel the need to buy the most expensive items, but can also apply to those who always purchase the cheapest goods. Rarely are either the best value, and it's only when you learn to purchase good value that you have money left over to invest for your future.

Your house is too big: When you buy a house that is bigger than you can afford or need, you end up spending extra money on longer debt payments, increased taxes, higher upkeep and more things to fill it. Some people will try to argue that the increased value of the house makes it a good investment, but the truth is that unless you are willing to downgrade your living standards, which most people are not, it will never be a liquid asset or money that you can ever use and enjoy.

You fail to take advantage of opportunities: There has probably been more than one occasion where you heard about someone who has made it big and thought to yourself, "I could have thought of that." There are plenty of opportunities if you have the will and determination to keep your eyes open.

 

 

Whatever has happened has happened for the good

 

  Why do you worry? Who are you afraid of? Whatever has happened has happened for the۱.  good. What is happening is also happening for the good. Whatever will happen, will be for good also. Do not repent over the past, or worry for the future. Do your duty selflessly---and to the best of your abilities---in the present only.

2. What have you lost for which you cry? You did not bring anything to this world when you were born. You are unnecessarily attached to your possessions. This attachment is the root cause of all your sufferings. Treat all your possessions as a trust property given to you by the God. Let the thoughts of 'I' and 'my' be completely wiped of your mind. Practice detached attachment. Always remember the creator, and surrender to the will of the Lord.

3. Why worry about the unavoidable death? Change is the law of nature. Spirit is the abode of body, and the body is an abode for the individual soul. This physical body was not here in the past, nor will it remain here for ever. But, the Sprit is immortal. It either takes birth or dies. Sprit only changes its bodies as you change your garments.

Why people hurt people?

This is technologies world. More time we are spending time with machines and we reduce to spend time with humans. Slowly the machines start to occupy our times. So slowly the human loving, caring characters changed like machines.

I know how much pain we get when we get hurt. Some times it makes to kill our self. Some times we cant eat or we cant sleep and push in to depressed too. In our head back side there is a part in our brain called clone (I hope the spelling is correct). There everything will be stored and it will keep on us to think and get more pain. It is a memory so only when something get overwrite it will remain same and keep on hurt.

To avoid this we should not keep our self alone. Make our self busy and try to go outside and spend some good time with good friends. When some good things happened in your life slowly it will make you will forget yours hurts.

I am shame to tell now days many people act like a sadist. They want others to get in to trouble and feel happy from that. They are enjoying when others get hurt. There are lots of reasons to hurt others. But what I feel I am just writing here.

Selfish

Some guys are selfish. They want only give important to him/her. When if his/her partner get closer with others they got angry and try to hurt and want to do punishment or do revenge. . Maybe some people not understand our past or present character. So we have to careful what we have to share and what not. Same time we should not make them angry when we get closer in front of him/her.

Jealous

When we are happy others will not accept our happy and some people got jealous when you go in higher position, or when you get new car or house or any new thing. That we cant help. So they got jealous and want to hurt us. Because of them we can hide or keep secret. Maybe some you can hide in front of other jealousy people.

Not forgiving

Maybe you did some mistakes in your past. They will not forget or forgive your past and want to hurt you back. For them we should ready to ask forgive if we did wrong. If they are not ready to forgive then we have to try avoiding them to meet next time.

Upset &Depression

When some one get depression or upset they will not have good mood in that time if we go there they will try to hurt us. So if we feel others like that some times we can avoid them to meet.

مردى متوجه شد که گوش همسرش سنگين شده و شنوائيش کم شده است. به نظرش رسيد که همسرش بايد سمعک بگذارد ولى نمي دانست اين موضوع را چگونه با او در ميان بگذارد. بدين خاطر، نزد دکتر خانوادگى شان رفت و مشکل را با او در ميان گذاشت. دکتر گفت براى اين که بتوانى دقيق تر به من بگويى که ميزان ناشنوايى همسرت چقدر است آزمايش ساده اى وجود دارد. اين کار را انجام بده و جوابش را به من بگو، «ابتدا در فاصله ی ٤ مترى او بايست و با صداى معمولى مطلبى را به او بگو. اگر نشنيد همين کار را در فاصله ی ٣ مترى تکرار کن. بعد در ٢ مترى و به همين ترتيب تا بالاخره جواب دهد.» آن شب، همسر آن مرد در آشپزخانه سرگرم تهيه ی شام بود و خود او در اتاق نشسته بود. مرد با خودش گفت الان فاصله ی ما حدود ٤ متر است. بگذار امتحان کنم. سپس با صداى معمولى از همسرش پرسيد، «عزيزم شام چى داريم؟» اما جوابى نشنيد. بعد بلند شد، يک متر به سمت آشپزخانه رفت و دوباره پرسيد، «عزيزم شام چى داريم؟» باز هم پاسخى نيامد. باز هم جلوتر رفت و از وسط هال که تقريباً ٢ متر با آشپزخانه و همسرش فاصله داشت گفت، «عزيزم شام چى داريم؟» باز هم جوابى نشنيد. باز هم جلوتر رفت و به در آشپزخانه رسيد. سوالش را تکرار کرد و باز هم جوابى نيامد. اين بار جلوتر رفت و درست از پشت سر همسرش گفت، «عزيزم شام چى داريم؟» زنش گفت،«مگه کرى؟ براى پنجمين بار میگم: خوراک مرغ!»

 

 نتيجه ی اخلاقى:

ممکن است بر خلاف تصور ما مشکل در ديگران نباشد بلکه در درون خود ما باشد.

I dreamed I had an interview with God.
"So you would like to interview with me?" God asked.

راز نوجوانی هشتاد ساله

 

روز بی حاصلی گذرانده ام. مثل بسیاری از روزها و روزهای بسیار کسان. روزی را که در آن کاری نمی کنی که بشاید: روز سوخته، روز بیهوده. تنها وظیفه ی شغلیت را انجام می دهی. آیا تنها برای همین زنده مانده ای؟

کاشکی شماره ی روزهای بی حاصل را در تقویم علامت می زدم تا عبرت آموز بود. روزهایی که با تکرار رفتار معهود در گذرند، با آدم های خسته کننده و روابط ملال انگیز، با دروغ و تعارف و تشریفات تلف می شوند و کارنامه شان مثل شب سیاه است. راستی اگر شب و روزهایی این چنینی را از عمر نشماریم یک باره آدمی هشتاد ساله نوجوانی چهارده ساله نخواهد شد؟

می خواهی با یک نفر توی صف اتوبوس حرف بزنی اما او یا حوصله ندارد یا با خودش حرف می زند یا حرفت نیمه کاره مانده اتوبوس می آید، او را می برد و تو را جا می گذارد.

توی اداره می خواهی حرف بزنی مثلاً درباره ی کتاب یا درباره ی سفرهایت یا بچه هایت همه می گویند:« هیس! داریم روزنامه می خوانیم.» یا «داریم روی این پرونده کار می کنیم.» یا «حرف نزن! مدیر دارد می آید.» یا «اصلاً اداره جای کار کردن است نه حرف زدن.» با زن و بچه ات هم که نمی توانی حرف بزنی چون بچه ات یک ساله است و باید به زبان مثلاً کبوتر یا سوسک با او حرف بزنی تا بفهمد و با زنت چقدر می توانی حرف بزنی؟ هر جمله ای را که شروع کنی او تمام تکیه کلام ها و اشارات و نتیجه گیری هایش را برای تو ادامه می دهد. خوب هر کس حرف های مشخص و معینی دارد که پدر و مادر و زن و فرزند دیگر آن ها را از بر شده اند. حتی چاهی هم برای درد دل کردن نمانده است.

حق شناسی

 

یک بار لقمان را به اسیری برده بودند و او را به خواجه ی بزرگی فروخته بودند. خواجه هر چه

 

 بیشتر در کارهای لقمان نگاه می کرد بیشتر به عقل و هوش و حکمت و دانش او ایمان پیدا

 

می کرد طوری که لقمان در نظر خواجه خیلی عزیز و محترم شده بود.

 

کم کم به آن جا رسید که خواجه لقمان را مانند پسر و برادر خود دوست می داشت و او را

 

مانند هم نشین و همدم خود می دانست.

 

خواجه بیشتر سعی می کرد در هر پیشامدی عزت واحترام لقمان را نگاه دارد و در سر زمین

 

 هم بهترین خوراک ها را به لقمان تعارف می کرد. یک روز از مزرعه برای خواجه یک خربزه ی

 

 نوبر تحفه آوردند.

 

خواجه کارد را برداشت و پیش از آن که خودش خربزه بخورد یک برش از خربزه برید و به لقمان

 

 تعارف کرد لقمان آن را گرفت و خورد و از قیافه اش پیدا بود که از آن راضی است. خواجه

 

خوشحال شد و باز هم یک برش دیگر برید و به لقمان داد. لقمان برای رعایت ادب آن را قبول

 

 کرد و ماند لقمه ی لذیذی خورد و تشکر کرد.

 

خواجه خوشحال تر شد و باز هم پاره ای دیگر ازخربزه به لقمان داد و همین طور کرد تا اینک

 

ه فقط یک برش از خربزه باقی ماند. خواجه با خود گفت: "حالا دیگر می توانم خودم هم از این

 

خربزه ی نوبر بخورم." اما همین که آن را خورد فهمید خربزه آفت زده و بسیار تلخ بوده. حلق و

 

 زبانش از تلخی خربزه سوخت و خیلی ناراحت شد. دهان خود را شست و بعد از لحظه ای

 

 به لقمان گفت: "دوست عزیز! عجب خربزه ی تلخی بود. نمی دانم چطور تو از اول تا حالا

 

هیچ نگفتی و از تلخی آن حرفی نزدی آخر این همه بردباری خیلی دشوار است."

 

لقمان جواب داد: "بله، خربزه تلخ بود ولی من مدت ها از دست تو شیرینی خورده ام و دلم

 

راضی نشد از یک بار تلخی خربزه شکایت کنم. من همیشه به مردم نصیحت می کنم در برابر

 

خوبی های دیگران حق شناس باشند چگونه ممکن است خودم به نصیحت خود عمل نکنم.

 

 ای کاش این یک برش آخری راهم  به من می دادی و از محبت خود خوشحال بودی همچنان

 

 که من از خوبی ها و بزرگواری ها تو راضی و خوشحال بودم."

 

غرض این که چند روز بیشتر به سال جدید نمونده. اگه خدای نکرده به خاطر یه موضوع بی اهمیت بین شما و دوستی که بارها بهتون خوبی کرده کدورتی پیش اومده تا دیر نشده دست به کار شین و ...

 

 

تو دهنی

با اجازه ی آقا علیرضا ( که  به کسی ربطی نداره ما به چه چشمی بهش نگاه می کنیم دلتون بسوزه که حتی حاضر نیستیم ناخن انگشت کوچیکه ی پاشو که می گیره و می ندازه دور با شما عوض کنیم چون حداقلش اینه که شهامت داره و رو در رو با آدم حرف می زنه)

 این مطلب متعلق به همه ی دوستان هست اما چون ما( اعضای انجمن مترجمین پارسی) آدم های خوبی هستیم و من به شخصه نگران حال اون دسته از دوستان عزیزی!!! که چشم دیدن موفقیت های ما رو ندارن شدم راهکارهایی برای جلوگیری از Blow up  شدن( اگه اشتباه نکنم فارسیش میشه منفجر شدن) اونا نوشتم. البته بهتره یه نکته رو به زبان شیرین فارسی بگم که قشنگ شیر فهم بشه اونم یه راهکار سادست مثل انجام کارهایی مثل گردگیری، منجوق دوزی، آشپزی، خوابوندن بچه ی همسایه، پارو کردن برف، دم در گذاشتن کیسه زباله، مس سابیدن، یخ حوض شکستن، پیر زن  خفه کردن، بربری خریدن، و اگه هیچ کدوم مقدور نبود( یعنی اگه تشخیص داده شد شما دوست عزیز صلاحیت انجام این کارا رو را هم ندارین) حداقل دست تو دماغتون بکنین تا چند دقیقه ای سرتون گرم بشه و دست و پاتونو از انجمن ما جمع کنین. خدا رو خوش نمیاد ان قدر خودتونو اذیت کنین چون درنهایت دودش به چشم خودتون میره ما که به قول فرنگی ها DO NOT CARE.

سعی می کنم یه مطلبی هم در مورد راهکارهای افزایش جربزه پیدا کنم تا یاد بگیرین آدم باید حرفشو رو در رو بزنه نه از پشت چند تا دیوار عاق بندی شده و زیر جلیقه ی ضد گلوله.

راستی اگه می دونستم جنسیت شما دوست محترم چیه بهتر می تونستم راهنمائیتون کنم.

در پایان  از همه ی اعضای فعال، غیور، پرانرژی، خنده رو تشکر می کنم.

A new friend

In one of the most public of places (subway) I feel extremely lonely. My friends are sitting across from me but I am lonely. My eyes fill with tear. Being afraid that somebody catches sight of them, I close my eyes. Tears push forward. I squeeze my eyes. But they push forward persistently. As I have lost all my energy these days they overcome me and run down my face. I wipe my cheek with my forefinger. They want to make sure they are stronger than me so another bitter tear. Once, twice, again and again… ". I admit you are stronger please knock it off". I feel a heavy look and open my eyes; she is looking at me. Never mind. She just can see my face, does not know the reason and does not feel what is going on in the nothingness of my heart.

I can't blame her. She has discovered a new friend.

What a big mistake I have made; I thought she is my closest friend, I thought she can read my mind and knows I am sore at -. ALAS! She does not have time for me, has to deal with another friend. In the way back home I wonder WHY.

شبی سی و چند کس از درویشان و جوانمردان نزد ابوالحسن انطاکی جمع شدند. او را دو سه گرده ای نان بود چندان که پنج مرد را دشوار بس باشد. نان ها همه پاره کردند و چراغ بکشتند و بر سفره نشستند تا نان خورند و هر یکی دهان می جنبانید تا دیگران پندارند که همی خورند چون سفره برداشتند نان بر حال خود بود. هیچ یک نخورده بودند جهت ایثار به دیگران.
